The story of Cow Pat began with Sara’s early travels around the world and grew through her shared love of adventure, animals, and storytelling with Sophia. Together, they wanted to create meaningful children’s books inspired by real-world experiences. Cow Pat & Friends helps young children discover the world in a gentle, joyful way—through characters they can relate to and stories that feel safe, fun, and inspiring.
Travel plays a central role in the series, not as a lesson, but as an experience. Through Cow Pat and his friends, children are introduced to new countries, traditions, and friendships in a way that feels natural and engaging. The goal is simple: to make the world feel exciting, welcoming, and full of possibilities.
Meet Sara
Author & Mom
Sara is a writer, traveller, and mother who has spent years exploring different countries and cultures, now living in Bangkok, Thailand with her family. Inspired by her experiences around the world, she created Cow Pat & Friends to introduce children to travel in a warm, accessible way. Sara shapes the storytelling, settings, and themes—turning real places into playful adventures designed for young readers.
Meet Sophia
Author & Daughter
Sophia is the creative spark behind Cow Pat & Friends. As co-author, she brings imagination, humour, and a child’s perspective to every story—helping shape the characters, friendships, and playful moments that resonate with children aged 4–7. Her younger brother Oskar (4) sometimes joins in too, adding extra giggles and ideas.
A Mother-and-Daughter Collaboration
Together, Sara and Sophia combine real travel experiences with childhood creativity to create stories that inspire curiosity, kindness, and a love for discovery.
